  • There are no accounts or forms on the site. We only receive personal data when you choose to email us or book a call.
  • We set two small cookies to remember your language and theme. See our Cookie Policy.
  • We never sell your data or use it for profiling.

When we build or run software for a client, we may process personal data on that client's behalf (for example, data about their customers). In that case the client is the controller, we act as a processor under a data processing agreement (GDPR art. 28), and this policy does not apply to that data.

04What we don't do

  • No analytics, heatmaps, advertising pixels or social media trackers.
  • No selling, renting or trading of personal data.
  • No profiling and no automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you (GDPR art. 22).
  • No requests to Google or other third parties when you load a page: our fonts and assets are served from our own server.

05Who we share data with

We only share personal data with service providers who help us run our business, under contracts that require them to protect it:

  • OVHcloud hosts this website (on servers in the United Kingdom) and our email.
  • Calendly (United States) handles call bookings when you use our booking link. Calendly's own privacy notice(opens in a new tab) applies to the booking page.
  • Video-call providers you join through the meeting link in your invitation.
  • Professional advisers such as accountants or lawyers, when needed and under confidentiality.
  • Public authorities, only when the law requires it.

06Transfers outside the EU

Our web server is located in the United Kingdom, which is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission. This means the UK is recognised as protecting personal data to a standard essentially equivalent to the EU's.

If you book a call, Calendly may process your data in the United States. Calendly relies on recognised safeguards such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for more information about these safeguards.

07How long we keep data

  • Server logs: kept only briefly for security and troubleshooting, then overwritten automatically.
  • Emails and enquiries that don't lead to a project: up to 3 years after our last exchange, then deleted.
  • Client records: for the duration of the contract, then as long as needed to handle any claims. Invoices and accounting records are kept for the period required by law.
  • Cookies: 12 months. See the Cookie Policy.

08Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
  • correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • erase your data (the “right to be forgotten”);
  • restrict how we use your data;
  • receive your data in a portable format, or have it sent to another organisation;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@teklick.com. It's free, and we will answer within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

09Complaints

If you think we have not handled your data properly, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of the EU country where you live, work, or where you believe the problem happened. The European Data Protection Board lists all national authorities at edpb.europa.eu(opens in a new tab).

10Security

The website is only served over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to personal data is limited to the people who need it, our systems are kept up to date, and we choose providers with strong security practices. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data and will notify you and the authorities of a breach where the law requires it.

11Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. If we make significant changes, we will make them clearly visible on this website.
